We have been making fabricated steel in Latvia for UK trade customers every month for years. Now we sell it direct.
Ferruma sells the same work direct. Same production chain, same quality checks, same packing standard, straight to the workshop, the builder or the homeowner who needs it, at factory prices, direct from production.
How production is organised
Each process runs at a specialist plant rather than under one roof. We send each job wherever it is made best and soonest, and we control every step from drawing to delivery.
- Cutting
- Laser cutting runs at around 50 t/day. Your parts nest with other work.
- Welding
- Dedicated fabrication plants with experienced, qualified welders.
- Coating
- Dedicated galvanising and powder-coating lines, working to a recorded thickness.

Common questions
- Where is it made?
- In our production network in Latvia, in the EU, where specialist plants each do one process in volume. We organise, control and guarantee every step, and delivery to the UK is included in the price and in the two-to-three-week lead time.
- Why are your prices lower?
- We buy steel in volume and run every process in volume, so the material, labour and coating costs are lower. Order more, or order again, and the price gets better.
- How long does it take?
- Two to three weeks from approved drawings, delivery included. Urgent work can sometimes be pulled forward.
- Is there a minimum order?
- Regular orders start from around £1,000. Private one-offs are welcome too, from a single gate or railing; as transport is a fixed cost per delivery they make most sense at a pallet or more. Most of our work is larger projects, and there is no upper limit.
- Can you match a RAL colour or galvanise?
- Yes, both. Everything is hot-dip galvanised or powder coated on our own lines, or galvanised and then coated for the longest life outdoors. Any RAL colour can be matched; satin black and anthracite are the most ordered.
